Dubai Tour-Big Bus Blue Route

Our tour started from Wafi Mall and our first stop was Jumeirah Grand Masjid.

1) Jumeirah Grand Masjid: The masjid is not as large as Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. However, this is the only masjid in Dubai that open to tourist for visiting and enter the masjid (of course with appropriate clothes). There are few session for the visitors explaining the masjid function to islamic society, how muslims perform ablution and prayer and others. The explanation is given by staff from Sheikh Mohammed Center for Cultural Understanding (the center is situated next to the masjid). Visitors are allowed to enter the masjid during the sessions only.

2) Jumeirah Public Beach: This beach is very near to Burj Al-Arab. This is one of the best spot to capture the photo of Burj Al-Arab. There is no entrance fee to this beach.

The burj, the sand and the sea

3) Atlantis On The Palm: This is a famous man-made island that shaped like palm. Subhanallah. Atlantis The Palm situated at the end of the palm. It consists of Atlantis Hotel, Aquaventure water park, Dolphin Bay, The Lost Chamber aquarium, restaurants and retails shops. There are exclusive condos and villas on the trunk and the fronds of the palm.  The Palm Jumeirah Monorel connecting the Atlantis the Palm to the Gateway Towers at the end of the trunk. During the visit there is only 2 stations are opened (end-to-end). The 2 stations in between still close until the development on that area is completed. Future plan is to connect the Palm Jumeirah Monorel with the RTA Metro. Price for monorail ticket is AED15 for single journey and AED25 for return trip. You cannot use Nol Card to take the monorail. We purchased return trip as we will take the next Big Bus from Atlantis.
It is worth to take the monorail because we can view the aquaventure, the residence at the fronds and the trunk.
(We did not enter to aquaventure and Lost Chamber Aquarium during this trip)

  4. Your exciting vacation in Dubai has certainly nudged me and my wife to grab a visa for Dubai so that we can explore beautiful attractions like Jumeirah Public Beach, Jumeirah Grand Masjid, Atlantis on The Palm and the Lost Chambers Aquarium Dubai. We are also looking for some nice hotels to stay in and restaurants where we can relish some amazing and authentic Emirati cuisine.
